I don't care if they are digitally signed or not since I can disable that dam system in Windows 7 easily enough. So I'm wondering if there is any other PS3 Controller Drivers out there which I can install offline and are more reliable.
If you typically play with a controller on your PC, you can create and store custom. The tool offers a very simple interface, and setting it up is very straightforward and doesn't require an Internet connection. Recognition is much more consistent when you let Windows recognize the controller or controllers first and then, run DS3 Tool. You can add controllers while DS3 Tool is active, but that method seems to be a little less reliable. It's not as robust as MotionInJoy, as it doesn't allow me to remap the buttons to key-presses (which is annoying, as some games such as Melty Blood don't seem to recognize some of the input values) With Better DS3, you can set up your PlayStation controller to use on your computer with the same controls you use on the console. DS3 Tool will list all of the Sixaxis and DualShock 3 controllers that it detects. SIXAXIS - Which is easier to use offline and easier to install, but I have to run a batch file every time the controller disconnects.

(I've unfortunately lost the instructions on how to do it again so I can only get it to work on my main computer and not my laptop) MotionInJoy - I am using this right now but I have an older version which I was able to install and use without an internet connection.VOYEE Wireless Controller Compatible with Playstation 3 PS3 Controller with Upgraded Joystick/Rechargerable Battery/Motion Control/Double Shock (Black) 4.3 out of 5 stars.
